Chris R. Youtz
Mr. Youtz handles civil litigation and class actions of all types. His experience includes securities fraud litigation and arbitration, lawsuits regarding intellectual property and engineering, product liability suits and contract disputes.
Mr. Youtz received his law degree in 1977 from the University of Virginia, where he was a Dillard fellow. He obtained a master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University in 1974 and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and electrical engineering from Auburn University in 1971. He was selected as one of Auburn University’s ten outstanding seniors and the outstanding Phi Kappa Tau undergraduate in the nation in 1971. He also spent three years in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant. He is the recipient of the King County Bar Association’s President’s Award for outstanding pro bono service.
Mr. Youtz practiced for five years at Bogle & Gates. He participated in the national session of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and has conducted training seminars in depositions and trial practice. He has lectured at several seminars regarding the use of computers in litigation and Federal practice. He has served as an arbitrator and a mediator. He is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, has been named a "Super Lawyer"® in Washington for numerous years, and was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016 for commercial litigation.
